Has anyone seen my left foot?
A story about MS diagnosis.
Has anyone lost their left foot as the one I have does not appear to belong to me.
I distinctly remember the last time I had my left foot, while walking on Pen Y Fan, my local mountain when I developed a painful blister on the heel. I appeared to have a groin injury which my GP was at loss to explain. So what's new...?
6 months later and i was diagnosed eventually... with MS.
Somewhere along the line I lost my left foot, perhaps it was taken away by aliens and replaced with... this one which must be why it is just a little shorter because that's the way I topple over.
I keep turning to the left to see if I can see the waterfall I can hear on my left ear, of course I can't see it because of the huge black patch that lingers in front of my left eye, when I can manage to keep it open, of course.
I can't say that bacon tastes the same... I'm so busy concentrating on getting the swallow right that I don't notice... But at least some things are consistent, I can smell nothing and cheese always tastes of fairy liquid!
Anyway on the subject of my foot, if anyone recognises the description size 9/10, big toe nail needing cutting, in different shades of colour (dependent on when last washed!), often seen in green socks and hiking boot, perhaps they can scan it in and email an image?
It would be nice to see it again, its fair to say I was very attached to it!
